The 2026 edition of the Ghana AI Summit 2026 is set to converge experts in artificial intelligence from July 29 to 30 to discuss the country’s response to the rapid global rise of AI.
The two-day event is expected to bring together policymakers, industry leaders, academics and technology innovators to discuss how artificial intelligence is reshaping work, productivity and economic development.
The summit comes at a time when AI adoption is accelerating globally, raising both opportunities for innovation and concerns over job displacement and workforce adaptation.
“Artificial intelligence is transforming every sector, and the Ghana AI Summit is where Ghana's response takes shape,” organisers said in a statement shared on Thursday, July 2.
They added that the summit is designed to position Ghana as a continental leader in AI-driven development and innovation.
“The Ghana AI Summit comes at a critical moment for our country, as artificial intelligence continues to reshape industries, work, and the future of productivity,” the statement said.

This year’s edition will focus on job creation and strategies to manage potential job losses linked to automation and digital transformation.
The forum will also provide participants with practical insights on how to adapt to AI-driven changes in the workplace by building relevant digital skills and improving efficiency.
It will feature speakers from academia, industry and policy institutions, including experts in AI research, cybersecurity, governance and digital innovation.
Among them are Sheriff Issaka of the African Languages Lab, Professor Quist-Aphetsi Kester, Kojo Amissah, James Mane, Dr. Gillian Hammah and Professor Isaac Wiafe, among others.
Interested participants are to register via the official summit website :https://ghanaaisummit.com/registrations/new.
