Believe it or not, we have somehow already reached the halfway point of 2026. Time flies when you're enjoying all of the thrilling, hilarious, tear-jerking, and downright exhilarating content that Netflix releases each month. Thankfully, that's not stopping this summer.
July 2026 offers one of the strongest rosters of new release shows and movies on Netflix in recent memory, and that's both in terms of original content and the acquired titles from past and present. The streamer drops a number of new shows throughout the month, including the new reboot of the iconic Little House on the Prairie and Will Ferrell's golf comedy series The Hawk.
We will also be returning to Ransom Canyon with the follow-up season of the hit romantic drama series starring Minka Kelly and Josh Duhamel. Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is back on Netflix in Enola Holmes 3 for another mystery, teen romantic drama Heartstopper and Survival of the Thickest both end with their series finales, and Kevin Hart's back with the comedy 72 Hours.
Beyond the Netflix original movies and shows everyone will be talking about this month, the streamer also drops great movies like Wicked: For Good, Hamnet, The Hunger Games series, Scream 1-3, and so many great picks for movie night. Speaking of marathons, the complete series of Heroes is on the menu as is Hannibal, Dark Winds season 4, and Daryl Dixon season 3.
