French Disney+ subscribers now have access to the L’Équipe sports channel as part of their subscription. L’Équipe is the leading sports channel in France. Per a release from Disney, this is the first live channel included in a subscription for French Disney+ users.
Subscribers with access to L’Équipe, they can see a range of major sporting event broadcasts. This includes the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Biathlon World Cup and World Championships, the European Table Tennis Union circuit, and more.
Plus, subscribers can access some of the channel’s live analysis programs, including Équipe du Soir, L’Équipe de Greg, and L’Équipe de Choc.
“This collaboration with Disney+ marks a new stage for the L’Équipe channel,” said Vincent Broussard, Managing Director of the TV division of the L’Équipe Group, in the release. “It allows us to expand our reach, while remaining true to our mission: to share the passion for sport with the widest possible audience, to offer expertise recognized by all, and to provide Disney+ subscribers with unmissable events.”
