Delhi Police has arrested two alleged shooters linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in connection with a firing incident outside a gym owned by Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa in Paschim Vihar earlier this month, officials said on Wednesday.

The accused, identified as Arman (19) and Tushar alias Tashu alias Pinku (21), both residents of Haryana’s Sonipat district, were apprehended in Bahadurgarh following an extensive manhunt involving technical surveillance, intelligence gathering and field operations, they added.

According to police, the duo was involved in the firing incident that took place at around 4 a.m. on June 11 outside 24HS Fitness Gym on Outer Ring Road in Paschim Vihar.

Two motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly opened fire at the premises before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported. Police recovered seven empty cartridges from the spot and registered a case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act at Paschim Vihar East police station.
The case drew attention after an Instagram post allegedly made by Anil Pandit, said to be operating from the United States and linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the attack. The post stated that the firing was carried out by gang members at the gym associated with Guru Randhawa and alleged that the singer had been warned against associating with actor Salman Khan.

Recognising possible links to organised crime, the investigation was transferred to the NDR unit of the Crime Branch in R.K. Puram. Investigators reconstructed the suspects’ movements across nearly 100 km, examined technical evidence and developed intelligence inputs, eventually identifying the alleged perpetrators as Sahil, Sagar, Arman and Tushar.
Acting on specific information, Crime Branch teams carried out a coordinated operation on June 15 and arrested Arman and Tushar in Bahadurgarh. During interrogation, both allegedly admitted their involvement in the firing, police said.
Police said Arman is a cousin of Sahil and Sagar, the other suspected shooters who remain absconding.
Tushar had recently returned to Delhi from Russia, where he had been working after travelling on a study visa. Investigators claim he came into contact with Sahil and Sagar shortly before the attack and participated in planning the firing incident on the directions of Anil Pandit.
Both accused are currently in police custody and are being questioned to uncover the wider network involved in the case. Efforts are underway to arrest the remaining suspects and recover the weapon allegedly used in the crime.
