Earlier this week at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, we had the opportunity to briefly show BIROS to Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI. Along with my co-founders Vaibhav Pandey and Chhaya Tawde, we’ve been building BIROS (Bio-Inspired Robotic Snake) at ReOps Intellitech Inc. to solve a very specific problem: safe access to environments humans shouldn’t have to enter first. 🚨 Collapsed structures 🏭 Confined infrastructure ☢️ Hazardous inspection zones Sam’s first reaction: “I think it’s a good form factor. That’s awesome.” That validation matters – not as an endpoint, but as encouragement to build harder. In an era where AI is advancing rapidly, intelligence is no longer the only constraint. Access is. BIROS is built around that idea, not to replace human judgment, but to support it with visibility before risk. Still early. Still building. But moments like these remind us that we’re heading in the right direction. Really proud of how far this idea has come. BIROS started from a simple question “How does nature move through places where machines struggle?” Snakes have been evolving for millions of years to navigate tight, complex environments.
