ClickHouse launches House Mates partner program with local partner recruitment – CRN Australia
ClickHouse has launched its House Mates partner program with more than 25 technology partners and 35 services and channel partners across six continents including Australia and New Zealand.
The data analytics platform has grown to more than 4,000 customers in four years, but with more than 200 integrations it lacked a structured way to manage and support them.
“We needed a programmatic foundation we could build on, measure and use to reward the partners who invest and go deeper with us,” Abhinav Mehla, VP, global partners and alliances, ClickHouse said.
The program was shaped by conversations with existing partners, Mehla and his team’s experience building partner programs at other companies and customer requests for validated integrations.
“Customers were telling us they needed validated integrations they could trust in production, certified ClickHouse experts in their region and the ability to buy through the channels and marketplaces they already use,” Mehla explained.
The program is organised across three tracks: technology, services and reseller, and each track has three tiers: ignite, accelerate and prime.
Benefits scale with tier and include joint go-to-market motions, co-innovation and integration support, enablement and certifications, incentives and a dedicated partner portal.
Across all three tracks, partners get free ClickHouse Academy certification vouchers, cloud credits for building and testing, and co-marketing support.
Partner earnings are linked to their particular category. Services and consulting partners earn through referral fees and services revenue from implementation, migration and managed services. “We actively route customer requests for implementation help to certified partners,” he told CRN Australia.
Reseller partners earn margin on ClickHouse Cloud and BYOC contracts, with higher margins for sourced business and growth bonuses tied to annual recurring revenue (ARR) expansion year over year. “Deal registration protects partner economics throughout the sales cycle,” he added.
For technology partners, cross-selling, co-selling and up-selling their own product is the key aspect of the program. Partners align with ClickHouse’s sales team, building joint pipeline and driving broader co-sell motions to help drive revenue. “Higher tiers unlock proactive co-sell engagement with our field sales teams and joint go-to-market plans,” he said.
ClickHouse has a small number of partners in ANZ but it has growth plans for the region.
“We’d rather have a small number who’ve invested in understanding ClickHouse, built practices around it, and who we can treat as a real extension of our organisation,” he said.
With demand for agentic-specific analytics, the business is recruiting AI, data and open-source specialist partners across solutions, services and reseller categories.
Mehla said partners can deliver faster time to value in real-time analytics and agentic AI for customers, while accessing attractive incentives to grow their own business.
“We’re committed to a collaborative go to market with our channel and services partners to meet the surging demand for ClickHouse across ANZ,” he said.
Alongside that local recruitment, ANZ customers and partners can leverage its global partnerships with dbt Labs, Notion and Sigma.
“We will drive joint go to market with the three cloud partners, AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft, to accelerate customer success in the region,” he ended.
