A devastating fire at the Lemon Green Restaurant and Hotel in South Delhi’s Malviya Nagar has claimed the lives of at least 21 people, including 10 foreign nationals, many of whom are reported to be South African.

The harrowing visuals captured at the scene include footage that shows two women jumping from the building in an attempt to flee the flames and other images depicting the completely charred and blackened windows of the establishment.

Amidst the chaos, local residents and fire officials are also seen working side-by-side to rescue those trapped.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
