Ladakh, July 03, 2026: ASUS Foundation, the philanthropic arm of ASUS, has donated 25 ASUS All-in-One (AiO) computer systems to Jamyang School in Leh, Ladakh, expanding the school’s digital learning infrastructure. The donation was marked by a ceremony at the school, where a newly enhanced computer lab powered by the donated systems was inaugurated.
The donated ASUS V470VAB All-in-One PCs feature a 27-inch display with a 178-degree viewing angle and come bundled with Microsoft Office Home 2024, an integrated webcam, and speakers to support online learning and digital collaboration. The lab is intended to give students a dedicated space to develop computing skills, conduct research, and build digital capabilities.
Alongside the hardware donation, ASUS India employees and ASUS Foundation volunteers conducted an AI Applications Course for students, covering real-world applications of artificial intelligence through interactive demonstrations and hands-on sessions. The course aimed to familiarise students with foundational AI concepts and build confidence in using emerging digital tools.
The initiative builds on last year’s donation to the same school and forms part of ASUS Foundation’s wider effort to improve technology access in underserved and remote regions of India. Earlier this year, ASUS India also marked one year of its digital literacy programme with VIDYA Foundation, reaching over 14,000 children, youth, and women across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa.
