Midwest Heritage, the trustee of the Warren H. Timmerman Charitable Trust and the Gilbert and Barbara Renze Charitable Foundation, has announced that the application period for the 2026 grant cycle is now open. The Timmerman Trust is dedicated to projects within Carroll County, and half of the awarded funds each year are allocated to initiatives benefiting the immediate Manning area. The Renze Foundation grants are available to projects based in Sac or Carroll counties. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations, governmental entities, or other similar groups. Applications are due to Midwest Heritage in Carroll on or before July 10. Forms are available online using the link included with this story on our website or by emailing Trust@MidwestHeritage.com. To date, the Timmerman Trust has awarded more than $2.735 million since its inception, while the Renze Foundation has distributed more than $1.04 million.
