Apple TV kicked off its best summer lineup ever last week with thriller series Cape Fear, and today the streamer released trailers for two returning shows coming soon.
One of my all-time favorite Apple TV comedies—Trying—is coming back soon.
Trying season 5 premieres Wednesday, July 8 with one episode, followed by weekly releases through August 26.
If you’re a fan of heartwarming comedies along the lines of Ted Lasso and Shrinking, I highly recommend checking out Trying.
The show centers on a London-based couple, Nikki and Jason, on the rollercoaster adventure of trying to expand their family. It has a 96% Rotten Tomatoes score across four seasons so far.
Here’s the new trailer for Trying’s latest season:
Apple TV recently announced a packed lineup of Peanuts additions coming this summer. The first debut is a new season of Camp Snoopy.
Camp Snoopy season 2 is coming on Friday, June 26, with all episodes released at once.
If you’re unfamiliar with Apple’s growing library of Kids & Family programming, it’s well worth checking out if you have kids.
Even if you’re just looking for something to watch yourself, one recent premiere—My Brother the Minotaur—was praised as worthy viewing for all ages.
Here’s Apple’s summary for Camp Snoopy season 2, followed by the new trailer:
Snoopy and the Beagle Scouts are looking forward to carefree time in the majestic landscape of Camp Spring Lake. Along with Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang, join Snoopy and the birds as they hike, swim and leap their way through another round of fun and adventure in the Great Outdoors, searching for the elusive hedge toad, building towering sandcastles and debating the merits of hot dogs versus hamburgers.
Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month, or you can get it discounted through the Apple One bundle.

Ryan got his start in journalism as an Editor at MacStories, where he worked for four years covering Apple news, writing app reviews, and more. For two years he co-hosted the Adapt podcast on Relay FM, which focused entirely on the iPad. As a result, it should come as no surprise that his favorite Apple device is the iPad Pro.
