Apple is shuttering three stores this month, citing a decline in quality at the shopping malls that house them.
Apple will close its locations at Trumball Mall in Connecticut, North County Mall in California and Towson Town Center in Maryland later this month.
The employees at the Trumbull and North County locations will continue their roles at nearby Apple stores, and the Towson employees are eligible to apply for open roles at other locations, per union agreements, according to an Apple statement.

Apple is closing the three stores due to the departure of several retailers and declining conditions at the Trumbull Mall, North County Mall and Towson Town Center, where the Apple stores are located, according to a statement from the tech giant.
