The AI sector was unable to maintain its recent momentum after an early Monday liquidation event sent most crypto markets tumbling.
Meanwhile, some low-volume tokens saw dramatic declines.

Trending tokens performed far better than average this week, featuring a higher-than-expected concentration of agent projects.
Overall, the AI sector is one of the worst-performing altcoin categories this week. It’s ranked 22nd out of the 24 sectors tracked by Artemis. For comparison, the gaming sector ranked first, recording a 14.4% WoW improvement in fully diluted market capitalization.
