KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Sumo, a nine-week-old puppy at the SPCA of Southwest Michigan is hoping to find his forever home this Fourth of July weekend.
Katie Timber, executive director of the SPCA of Southwest Michigan, tells News Channel 3 that the puppy is fixed, vaccinated, and up to date on care.
"We have his mom and she looks like a cairn terrier, but his siblings look like Pomeranians, so I don’t know why he looks like a mini golden, but that’s just how it shook out," Timber said.
Timber described Sumo as highly energetic and playful, saying his littermates are “very spicy with each other” and like to play throughout the day. She said Sumo did well during the car ride to the studio.
