It’s a big week at the box office and on your streaming queues, and honestly, we couldn’t have scripted it better ourselves!
Leading the charge is the moment ’80s kids have been waiting for their entire lives: Masters of the Universe is finally here, bringing He-Man, Skeletor, and the world of Eternia to the big screen in epic, live-action fashion. Nicholas Galitzine wields the Sword of Power, and Jared Leto looks absolutely unhinged as the skull-faced villain we love to hate.
But Eternia isn’t the only world worth visiting this week. Horror-comedy fans, rejoice — the Wayans are back with a brand-new Scary Movie, skewering everything from Longlegs to Sinners with the franchise’s signature mix of scares and laughs. Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein are turning up the heat on Netflix with Office Romance, a rom-com written specifically for J.Lo that’s already generating serious buzz. And for fans of animation, The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act brings the beloved YouTube phenomenon to theaters for its emotional, long-awaited finale.
This week’s lineup of new movies coming out has something for just about everyone, whether you’re heading to the multiplex or streaming from the comfort of your couch. We’ve compiled the complete list below!
