CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Today is looking much nicer for your outdoor plans compared to yesterday. Storms become much more scattered, and drier air moves in during the late afternoon and evening. This sets up the perfect transition into what’s coming next week.
Steamy sunshine takes over starting Monday and sticks around all week long. Daytime highs will reach the low 90s, but it’s going to feel much hotter—heat index values could soar well into the 100s. This is serious heat, Cincinnati.
Make sure to check on the very young, elderly family members, and your pets. Heat stress is real during these conditions. Here’s what you can do:
A few isolated storms could pop up during the July 4th weekend and provide some relief from the heat, but they shouldn’t wash out your holiday celebration plans.
