AG's Office: Police shoot man in Landaff; man taken to hospital – WMUR

The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office is investigating an incident in Landaff where police shot a man, investigators said.
Police responded to a report of a man walking in and out of traffic in the area of Lost River Road on Thursday afternoon, the AG’s Office said.

According to Senior Assistant Attorney General Kellermann, police officers from the Bath Police Department and New Hampshire State Police responded.
He said multiple officers were involved in the incident.
As police interacted with the man, investigators said police shot the man, wounding him. Two gunshots were fired, Kellermann said.
It is unclear at this time if the man had a weapon on him.
“So we can say he was acting erratically. He was walking in the road. He was reported to be walking in traffic, to be stopping traffic.” Senior Assistant Attorney General Alex Kellermann said.
The man was airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock hospital, according to Kellermann.
