Samsung has introduced its Vision AI TV lineup in the Philippines, pitching the new range as more than just a display for movies and shows, but as a smarter entertainment hub built around gaming, fitness, sports, and connected home experiences. The company showcased the lineup during an event at BSK in Mandaluyong, where it demonstrated how its latest display technologies and AI-powered features are meant to support a wider range of daily activities.
According to Samsung, the idea behind Vision AI is to make TVs more adaptive to how people actually use them today. During the event, Samsung Head of VD Business Chris Almazan said consumers now expect televisions to go beyond simple content playback and deliver experiences that are more immersive and responsive to their interests.
To demonstrate that message, Samsung set up several interactive zones around different use cases. One of the featured areas focused on gaming and sports, where guests tried a basketball shootout using a Samsung OLED Vision AI TV, highlighting the panel’s contrast, color performance, and fast refresh rate. Another zone centered on fitness, showing how a Neo QLED Vision AI TV can work with a Galaxy Watch through SmartThings for home workout monitoring and guided routines.
Samsung also leaned into home entertainment and cinematic viewing. At another activity area, the company used its Mini LED Vision AI TV for a movie and TV quote challenge, emphasizing brightness, detail, and realism as part of the viewing experience. For racing fans, Samsung partnered with Apex Racing Philippines for a simulator setup using an Odyssey OLED monitor, demonstrating the display’s responsiveness and visual clarity for high-speed gameplay.
Beyond the hands-on demos, Samsung said the event also put a spotlight on its broader display portfolio, including Micro RGB and Mini LED TVs. The company claims these technologies build on its work in Quantum Dot and premium panel development, with the goal of delivering improved depth, color accuracy, and overall picture performance. Samsung also said its Vision AI TVs include the Vision AI Companion feature, which turns the TV into a more interactive assistant for content discovery and everyday use.
Samsung added that buyers of its Vision AI TVs will have access to Samsung TV Plus and up to seven years of operating system upgrades. The local showcase concluded with a performance by The Itchyworms, wrapping up what Samsung framed as a lifestyle-focused launch for its latest premium TV offerings.
