Expect mild and muggy conditions across the Gulf Coast Saturday night. Overnight lows will struggle to dip below 80 degrees.
Slightly drier air on Sunday will reduce rain coverage, but this will make for a very warm afternoon. Highs are once again expected to reach the middle 90s; this will make heat index values feel like the triple digits. Heat indices could make it feel as hot as 110 degrees for areas east of I-75. Some rain is possible in the afternoon, with areas near Lake Okeechobee seeing the highest chances.
Tropics: No development is expected over the next seven days.
