Our news partners at the Trib later reported that it took 45 minutes for departments from Westmoreland and Allegheny counties to get the fire under control.
Neighbors told the Trib a woman and her son had moved out of the house two weeks before the fire, also saying work was being done to the house within recent days.
The Trib said no injuries had been reported and no nearby homes sustained damage.
A cause of the fire remains unclear.

This is a developing story.
