HYDERABAD: A criminal case has been registered against an international passenger for allegedly misbehaving with a cabin crew member aboard a Lufthansa flight on Friday.The incident occurred on board the LH752 Frankfurt-Hyderabad flight which took off from Frankfurt at 1.32 pm (Central European time; 5.02 pm in Indian time) and landed in Hyderabad at 1.15 am – a duration of approximately eight hours.According to RGIA police, the complainant, 59-year-old German national Peter Baucer, was pushing a trolley down the aisle when it accidentally struck the leg of a passenger who had stretched his leg into the passage.“Even after I apologised, the accused became aggressive and kicked my leg. As a result, I suffered an abrasion,” Baucer stated in his complaint.Police said the crew member again attempted to pacify the passenger, but he allegedly continued to behave aggressively. Later, as the flight was preparing to land, Baucer asked the passenger to fold his tray table.The passenger allegedly refused and showed his middle finger in a gesture of defiance.The accused was identified as Satish Kumar. He was booked under Sections 131 (assault or use of criminal force otherwise than on grave and sudden provocation) and 296 (obscene acts and songs) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).Although the incident occurred on Friday, the complaint was lodged with RGIA police on Monday, and the matter came to light on Wednesday.Police said they have contacted the accused and asked him to appear before the investigating officer. “He is a senior citizen and has sought some time to visit the police station,” an RGIA outpost police official told .
