Suspect taken into custody, shelter-in-place order lifted at Lee campground – WMUR

A suspect was taken into custody in Portsmouth after police activity prompted a shelter-in-place order at a Lee campground.
That shelter-in-place order has been lifted.
A public safety alert was sent out by Lee police Saturday night regarding police activity near Wadleigh Falls Campground. The alert said those in or near the campground needed to shelter in place immediately, lock doors and stay away from doors and windows.
Lee police told News 9 just before 10:30 p.m. that Daniel Ouellet, whom they were looking for, was taken into custody in Portsmouth.
It is not clear at this time why police were looking for Ouellet.
