Apple shipped its 26.5 software lineup today, including iOS 26.5, iPadOS 26.5, macOS 26.5, and more. But the company also shipped new updates for older versions of its iPhone, iPad, and Mac software too, including iOS 18.7.9 and more.
Today alongside its latest 26.5 family of software updates, Apple released new updates for three older iOS versions, four older iPadOS versions, and two previous macOS versions.
Here’s the full list of older updates, courtesy of Aaron Perris:

We don’t have the full details on what’s included in these updates just yet. However, they’re largely expected to focus on security improvements.
For example, Apple has published security notes for iOS and iPadOS 15.8.8. They highlight that the updates have the same notification security fix that shipped in iOS and iPadOS 26.4.2 last month.
So if you’re running one of these older versions of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS, be sure to update to get the latest security enhancements.
Are you still running iOS 18 or another of these older OS versions? Let us know in the comments.
