Alex Jones is out here posting AI pictures of Clint Eastwood and Sylvester Stallone now. It’s just as wild as it sounds.
The disgraced Infowars founder decided to make a truly bizarre social media post this week. Instead of wishing Clint Eastwood a happy birthday like a normal person, Jones posted some sort of AI monstrosity to celebrate the occasion.
A poster affiliated with the MAGA Movement decided to mark Eastwood’s birthday with this strange post first period then, Jones went ahead and joined in on this nonsense. We cannot confirm if he’s figured out that the image is AI generated yet!
On social media, Jones wrote, “ Happy 96th birthday to the true American icon, Clint Eastwood! And, of course Sylvester Stallone is another American icon, and I couldn’t imagine a better person to present Clint his cake. Truth is cooler than fiction!!”
It feels like a good time to mention that if you have older people in your life, make sure you are asking questions about AI deepfakes and the like. They can be deceived by these images on occasion.
At any rate, people online were going to pounce on the opportunity to either scold Jones or cheer him on for this random moment.
One person had this to say, “This is AI b******* and Eastwood does not approve of this – look at the community notes. Delete this.”
INFOWARS is under new leadership these days, after The Onion managed to acquire the website. Jones put up a legal fight to try and maintain ownership of his personal project and media brand. But courts ruled that The Onion would obtain possession earlier this year.
Ben Collins is the man in charge over at The Onion. The parody site seemed legitimately thrilled to be acquiring a website with such a checkered history. Jones’s actions while at the head of Infowars have drawn a lot of criticism from all corners of the Internet.
Now, the site is focused on parody news content in the opposite direction of where Jones used to orient his views.
Collins’ statement from the day they acquired the site reads, “A lot of institutions and people gave up on doing the right thing over the last two years. Despite an insane amount of threats and b*******, we persevered.”
“Eight years, almost to the day, after the Sandy Hook parents first filed suit against Alex Jones, they’ll finally get some justice, and even some money,” he told the audience.
The Onion head man quipped, “You will get a new home for funny things on the internet, a tote bag with a good logo on it and a great newspaper made by human beings in your real-life mailbox.”
Well, he’s still a conservative commentator. Recent months have seen him break with United States President Donald Trump on a number of key issues. The cost of living increases due to the ongoing war in Iran have begun to weigh on the American public.
In fear of losing his base of American listeners, Jones has openly wondered. He vocally clashed against the president’s ideas and handling of the situation. This has led to him being criticized from right-wing sources as well as left-leaning ones. It’s a weird legacy on social media. But, he’s not stressing as he posts AI images of Clint Eastwood to pass the time.
