After months of speculation that reached a fever-pitch in recent days, one of the world's most powerful celebrity couples is now married.
It was quite the day at New York's Madison Square Garden as we journalists tried to glean any of the closely-guarded details from the biggest event so far in this love story – including which celebrities were on the guest list.
While we now have some key details, there is still a lot we don't know yet, including what Taylor Swift's Dior wedding gown looks like and how the couple styled the massive, 20,000-seater arena.
So, while the guests and happy couple continue their celebrations, we are pausing our live coverage on this page. You can read all about the day in our news story here.
The official White House account has posted an image on social media seemingly poking fun at the Swift-Kelce wedding announcement.
It shows an alternate version of Madison Square Garden with purple signs outside that read "TRUMP IS YOUR PRESIDENT" in place of the "JUST&T MARRIED" signs that went up after Swift's nuptials.
"IT’S HAPPENED!!!" The White House captioned the post.
Trump has previously expressed his disdain for the popstar, who has endorsed Democratic candidates in the past. "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT," Trump wrote in 2024.
We don't yet know exactly what Taylor Swift's wedding dress looks like, but we do know it was custom designed by Jonathan Anderson for Christian Dior Haute Couture, in close collaboration with the bride.
While we wait to see if the happy couple will release pictures of their looks, here are some other recent designs from Dior's spring/summer 2026 Haute Couture collection that may pique your interest.
Austin Swift served as his sister's "Man of Honour"
All the rumours about Taylor Swift's potential bridesmaids amounted to just that – rumours. The singer didn't have bridesmaids at all.
Instead, she opted for her younger brother Austin Swift to serve as her "man of honour".
Swift shares a close relationship with Austin, who she has described as her "best pal". Longtime Swifties might remember him from the music video for her 2010 song Never Grow Up, which features old family footage from when the two were children.
Austin, 34, is now an actor and music producer. He has co-produced some of his sister's music videos, including for the 2021 song I Bet You Think About Me. He also served as an executive producer on her concert film, Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Session.
Leading up to the wedding, fans floated several contenders they thought might be bridesmaids, including singer Selena Gomez, model Gigi Hadid, and Swift's childhood best friend Abigail Anderson.
Alas, it was simply a family affair.
Representatives also confirmed that Travis Kelce did not choose groomsmen, but similarly had his brother Jason Kelce serve as best man.

Taylor Swift superfans and podcasters Olivia Kotarski and Dani Winchester
We've been checking in with Swifties around the world who say they're absolutely thrilled that their favourite artist is now a married woman.
Superfans Olivia Kotarski and Dani Winchester host a podcast, called Taylearning, all about Taylor Swift.
They tell me they're "equally excited and surprised by everything we’ve seen thus far!"
They're still curious about what exactly happened inside Madison Square Garden, though, saying they wouldn't be surprised "if this was the celebrity fanfare party, and something more intimate happened earlier".
Maha Abouelenein celebrated Egypt's World Cup win and the Swift-Kelce wedding all in one day
Another fan, Maha Abouelenein, says that she loves that the couple wore Dior and that actor-comedian Adam Sandler officiated.
"Cannot wait to see official photos! So happy – what an incredible love story," she tells me. "It's a huge day!"
Caitlin Curley, who runs a Taylor Swift fan group at the University of Galway, adds that she's "absolutely delighted for them!"
"Wishing them a happy and healthy life! Loving seeing all of the guest attending and their outfits," she says.
Sandler is known for his on-screen weddings, including during his starring role in The Wedding Singer
When it comes to wedding officiants, Adam Sandler seems like a safe bet.
After all, he has tons of on screen wedding experience.
The actor has been married in several iconic rom coms, including during his titular role in the 1998 film The Wedding Singer and in the 2004 comedy 50 First Dates.
His admiration for Taylor Swift also goes way back. He has described her as one of the celebrities that makes him "starstruck". He also took his daughters, who are both huge Swifties, to the singer's Eras Tour film premiere in 2023.
"Because what she means to my kids, I get a little jumpy," he said on comedian Conan O'Brien's podcast. "I don't stay as cool as I can."
The actor also shares a connection with Travis Kelce, who made a cameo as a waiter in his movie Happy Gilmore 2 last year.

This photo could have been the first clue that Swift was planning to work with Dior
Ahead of the wedding, Taylor Swift was said to have several options for her dress. The pop star has had a long association with Oscar de la Renta, who dressed her for the Met Gala in 2014, and Stella McCartney, who is rumoured to be amongst the guests at today's ceremony.
But last month, The Hollywood Reporter said Swift and her longtime stylist, Joseph Cassell, were likely to choose a custom couture gown by Jonathan Anderson of Christian Dior. Their sources were well-placed, as that's exactly what happened.
Anderson, who hails from Magherafelt in Northern Ireland, was previously creative director of the Spanish fashion house Loewe, and only assumed his role at Dior last summer. Since then, he's dressed everyone from Beyoncé and Daniel Craig to Rihanna and Al Pacino.
He's perhaps best known for creating the red leather corset that Rihanna wore to reveal her pregnancy while performing at the 2023 Super Bowl.
Swift isn't thought to have worn one of his designs before – but in April she was spotted with a buttercup yellow Dior bag from Anderson's debut show in Paris this spring (see the photo above).
That prompted fashion magazine The Cut to wonder whether the singer was dropping one of her trademark Easter eggs.
"That purse… it’s vibrant!" wrote pop culture critic Olivia Craighead, external. "It’s not like the other purses she likes to carry around. Which, of course, leads me to ask: Is this a clue about Swift’s upcoming wedding?"
Now that's some good detective work.
Swift hasn't shared photos of the wedding dress yet – but her publicist said Anderson worked closely with the bride and groom to create the look.
"This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity," they added. "Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewellery."
Signs reading "JUST&T MARRIED!" have started appearing in New York, referencing the first initials of Taylor and Travis.
One of the signs appears over Madison Square Garden, the wedding venue.
The arena's account posted on X, writing "It's a love story" in reference to one of Swift's most well-known songs.
Swift and Kelce did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen, Swift's publicist has also confirmed.
Instead, Swift's brother Austin Swift served as her Man of Honour and Kelce's brother Jason served as his Best Man.
"The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler," the statement announcing the marriage added.
Comedian Adam Sandler officiated at the wedding ceremony
Swift's publicist also confirmed that the bride and groom both wore Dior for the ceremony.
Their looks were designed by Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections.
Tree Paine added that the couple's shoes were custom designed by Christian Louboutin, and that Swift's jewellery was Cartier.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are married, Swift's longtime publicist, Tree Paine, confirms in a statement.

7th Avenue in front of Madison Square Garden has now reopened and traffic is flowing, but the venue itself is still off-limits other than to those lucky enough to snag an invite.
We haven’t heard anything from inside and that’s very much by design. Whatever Taylor wants us to see, we’ll see.
She has maintained an incredible level of secrecy around this huge event in the middle of one of the world’s biggest cities.
Crowds of fans, well wishers and general passersby of all ages have flocked to the streets around Madison Square Garden to be part of the moment.
Here are some of our favourite images.
Fans of all ages were thrilled with the spectacle

The dress Taylor Swift wore in her engagement photos inspired a range of lookalike items
Taylor Swift's wedding, whenever it happens (or has already happened, as some speculate), is expected to inspire a lot of future brides.
Sarah Chapelle, author of Taylor Swift style fashion through the eras, explains to the BBC that Swift's Ralph Lauren dress that she wore in her engagement photos spawned "a number of lookalikes across budget retailers to fill demand".
She adds: "Her engagement ring has created huge interest in old mine diamonds and antique cushion cuts, which I think has usurped the long-standing oval cut that Hailey Bieber has certainly popularised.
"So her wedding dress is going to carry the same effect if not greater."

The event has begun but some fans still haven’t given up hope that they’ll get a glimpse of their favourite artists. People of all ages adorned in their Taylor Swift memorabilia are lingering around Madison Square Garden, climbing city scaffolding, and cheering for anyone who walks past – including emergency responders, who looked thoroughly entertained by the crowd.
This event feels like a Hollywood who's who similar to the Met Gala – which takes place just uptown from here – except this time, the celebrities haven't stopped to smile for the cameras. Though the crowd of spectators is dwindling, the true fans are sticking around.

The SUVs have stopped rolling, the curtains have been drawn back and Taylor and Travis's big night is beginning.
We're still not 100% certain what the ceremony will entail and US media reports suggest the couple may have tied the knot in advance of today's celebration.
Whatever today is, they have shut down huge swathes of one of America's biggest cities for it, and even the Empire State Building will be lit up to mark the occasion.
Meanwhile, Madison Square Garden is so dense with stars it threatens to collapse into a black hole.
We've spotted Bradley Cooper, Mariska Hargitay, Karlie Kloss, Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid, Hugh Grant, Graham Norton, Camila Cabello, Ethan Hawke (who apparently took an Uber), Jason Sudeikis and almost all of the Kansas City Chiefs turning up in the last few hours.
Swift's childhood best friend Abigail Anderson Berard, meanwhile, was spotted leaving her hotel in a floral corset – potentially revealing the design of the bridesmaids' outfit.
What we haven't seen is anyone who might be presumed to be part of the wedding party, from Selena Gomez (who will be returning the favour after Swift acted as bridesmaid at her wedding to Benny Blanco last year), to Travis Kelce's brother Jason. It's thought they entered Madison Square Garden much earlier in the day.
In total, we're expecting around 1,000 guests inside the venue – with rumours that Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney will seranade the happy new couple.
But with strict privacy protocols in place, we won't know any more until they choose to share it with us.

On the streets around Madison Square Garden, some young women have been breaking into Taylor Swift songs – standing atop a scaffolding and taking photos of the cars going in.
“It’s a moment when even if you don’t care about Travis and Taylor, you have to be here," says Alexandra Dinomite, who thinks Swift is the closest the US has to royalty.
“God bless Taylor Swift and may they be very happily married. She closed the whole city!” says Mariana Nascente who is originally from Brazil but now lives in New York City.
Fellow Brazilian Jamile Lanjoni says she is so excited to live in this city right now because a lot of things are happening, including the World Cup.

It’s quietened down a bit outside Madison Square Garden as the last of the black SUVs have now departed the arena. There may be more arrivals still – I’ve just seen former Chiefs player Isaiah Pacheco walk in on foot. But overall it seems like the guests are here.

A gust blew back the privacy curtains, revealing a very cheery looking Jimmy Fallon arriving for the ceremony.
More celebrities have been spotted outside Madison Square Garden, including actor Hugh Grant, as well as US actors Ethan Hawke and Jason Sudeikis.
