EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Market on Main is back in downtown Evansville Wednesday, July 1, bringing a morning full of fresh produce, local vendors, live music, and family-friendly activities to Ford Center Plaza.
The market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering shoppers a chance to “sip and shop” while staying cool in the summer heat. Visitors can enjoy fresh lemonade from Uncle G’s or a refreshing aguas frescas from La Plaza while browsing farmers and local vendors.
July also marks the kickoff of the POP program—Power of Produce—designed for kids and families. Participants can take part in a scavenger hunt at the Urban Seeds information booth to earn $2 vouchers, which can be used to purchase fresh fruits and snacks like peaches, apples, and more.
This week’s market also welcomes a new vendor, Moonlight Hollow, featuring fresh produce along with holistic body care products.
Adding to the atmosphere, live music will be provided by the folk duo The BurmaShavers, performing from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the market’s music tent.
