Will Ferrell is back in action this month on Netflix, with the legendary comic actor taking his unique brand of buffoonery to the golf course.
“The Hawk” sees his out-of-touch, former golfing superstar Lonnie Hawkins try to revive his career with one last major win. Early trailers weren’t exactly packed with laughs, but if his last sports comedies are anything to go by (“Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” “Blades of Glory,” “Semi-Pro”) there are sure to be one or two laugh-out-loud moments.
For other sports entertainment offerings, “WWE Unreal” Season 3 returns for more behind-the-scenes insights from the world’s biggest wrestling brand. Expect injuries and altercations galore.
Meanwhile, the long-awaited Netflix reboot of “Little House on the Prairie” premieres on July 9, while Kevin Hart‘s Netflix original comedy “72 Hours” airs July 24. It sees Hart going on a three-day, alcohol-fueled escapade with some Gen Zers after getting accidentally added to their group chat.
