(Undated)–The National Weather Service says a Heat Advisory is in effect for today (Tuesday) for portions of central Minnesota. The Twins Cities area is under an Extreme Heat Warning through 9 p.m. tonight.
Locally, highs today will be in the low to mid 80s across central and west central Minnesota with lots of sunshine.
Showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Wednesday into Wednesday night. A better chance of rain will arrive on Friday night into Saturday.
