Police say that they are investigating a shooting that occurred in Cheviot on Saturday evening that left one person dead and two others injured.
According to officials, the shooting occurred in the 3600 block of Glenmore Avenue, with the first call about the incident coming in to police dispatch at 5:40 p.m.
Three adult males were said to be transported to local hospitals as a result of the shooting.
In an update on Saturday night, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one of the men had later succumbed to his injuries. The other two are continuing to be treated for their injuries, although the severity of their conditions remains unknown.
HCSO says that the name of the man killed in the shooting is not yet immediately expected to be released.
Police say that they do not have a suspect in custody at this time in connection with the case.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the shooting.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says that they are continuing to investigate, and urge those with information to call police at 513-586-5533.
