Jonathan Majors is returning to the spotlight Run Hide Fight: Infidels, a $5 million action thriller from conservative commentator Ben Shapiro's The Daily Wire, according to Page Six.
In the upcoming film, which serves as a sequel to 2020’s Run Hide Fight, Major plays a Delta Force veteran who joins a college security guard and a group of students after Islamic terrorists seize control of a campus pro-Palestine encampment.
Per Page Six, the film's logline says the attackers impose "barbaric Sharia law" and execute "infidels in a makeshift caliphate," while the protagonists race to save students to prevent "America from surrendering to the enemy on its own soil."
“He loved the script, loved shooting the movie, is so great in the film, and he is totally 1,000 percent behind it,” producer Dallas Sonnie told Page Six, while confirming Majors would also be hitting the promotional circuit for the film.
“He’s a guy who comes in with full preparation, almost to the Marlon Brando, Joaquin Phoenix level. He is so dialed in, and he asks all the right questions,” Sonnier added. “And he was so generous with his time. He took the younger cast out to dinner, and took them to the gym, and really worked with them and was such a wonderful big brother to them on set. He’s a total movie star. The camera just locks in on him and cannot look away. What an honor to be able to work with such an amazing actor.”
Sonnier also told Page Six that the pro-Palestine movement "deserves to be mocked in a movie again," arguing that "the woke mind virus has captured Hollywood for the past 12 years.”
In April, Deadline reported that Majors and his co-star JC Kilcoyne fell through a window during the film’s production. The incident, which left Kilcoyne requiring stitches “all over his hands,” reportedly inspired members of the crew to walk off the set and call for a strike.
“The entire industry is in freefall due to strikes, and now that their members are out of work, they’re trying to sabotage the few people who are still producing,” Sonnier told Deadline at the time. “We don’t negotiate with communists.”
The film marks Majors' first film since 2023, when he was found guilty of assaulting then-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. The former Marvel darling’s last theatrical film release before his conviction was Creed III, which hit theaters in March 2023.
Although the trailer doesn’t specify a release date, Page Six says that Run Hide Fight: Infidels will make its debut on The Daily Wire this fall.
