The final round of fixtures in the 2026 World Cup group stages begins tonight, with Group B and Group C reaching their conclusions – so make sure you follow all the drama with us every step of the way.
Switzerland 2-1 Canada (FT)
Bosnia & Herzegovina 3-1 Qatar (FT)
(Group B – Switzerland and Canada advance to Round of 32)
Scotland 0-3 Brazil (FT)
Morocco 4-2 Haiti (FT)
(Group C – Brazil and Morocco advance to Round of 32)
Czech Republic 0-3 Mexico (FT)
South Africa 1-0 South Korea (FT)
(Group A – Mexico and South Africa advance to Round of 32)
05:25 CET – Congratulations to the six nations that booked their Round of 32 positions today. Canada v South Africa is the first and only match that has been locked in, and that could be a 'winnable' game for Bafana Bafana.
Another three groups will be settled tomorrow – D, E and F – with USA and Germany already advancing and Group F of particular interest with top spot still up for grabs. Our daily highlights package of Day 14 is not far away, so keep checking in on your Flashscore app wherever you are in the world. We'll catch you soon for day 15!
05:20 CET – South Korea faces an agonising wait and are currently ranked 4th on the third-placed teams table, with the top-eight going through to the Round of 32. There are seven currently below them and they need no more than four of those to shuffle up above them to stay alive. It's already time to wonder what has gone so horribly wrong with their campaign, though – they were widely expected to finish second in this group.
05:15 CET – You can read our match reports of the final two games of Day 14 here:
Czech Republic crash out of World Cup following another Mexico masterclass
South Africa advance beyond group stage for first time with shock win
05:05 CET – Mexico will face a third-place nation in Mexico City next up, whilst South Africa have booked a Round of 32 game with Canada in California.
04:58 CET – Bafana Bafana are through to the Round of 32! They were written off before they touched down in North America and appeared to stand no chance of a top-two finish following their opening game loss to Mexico.
04:54 CET – The party continues in Mexico City as the host nation score a third! There was even a cheer at the stadium in Monterrey as news of the third goal filtered through.
04:50 CET – Both matches have six minutes of additional time. South Korea need an equaliser to claim second place.
04:48 CET – Tomas Soucek has gone off with what could be a serious knee injury. It's a very sour end to a very disappointing World Cup for the Czech Republic. They're on the verge of elimination.
04:38 CET – The loudest cheer of the evening in Mexico City has been saved for the introduction of the legendary 40-year-old Guillermo Ochoa, who is at his sixth World Cup.
04:35 CET – Patrick Schick and Tomas Soucek are on for Czech Republic. South Africa have subbed off goalscorer Maseko, who will need to sit and wait nervously to see if his strike gets his nation beyond the group stage for the first time in their history.
04:31 CET – Here are the live standings of Group A:
04:29 CET – Both matches are in their final hydration breaks.
04:25 CET – SOUTH AFRICA LEAD! It's all kicking off now in Mexico with the live standings changing from minute to minute.
04:20 CET – AND ANOTHER! Czech Republic's World Cup is almost certainly over now after Mexico double their lead from a goalmouth scramble.
04:15 CET – WE FINALLY HAVE A GOAL! Mexico have one and a half feet in the Round of 32 following a quick transition that caught the Czech back three napping. Mexico's left back Mateo Chavez Garcia raced forward down the right side of the pitch to help outnumber the Czech defenders and scores his first goal for his country.
04:05 CET – The second halves are underway in Monterrey and Mexico City and, after caffeinating ourselves to the eyeballs in the final hour of a long day, we're pumped up for hopefully a bit more action this time.
Son Heung-min is on as one of three half-time changes made by South Korean management. The other three teams remain unchanged (see starting lineups below).
03:55 CET – South Africa are the only team who wouldn't benefit from a 0-0 draw here today. South Korea would be delighted to finish second, and whilst the Czechs are of course chasing that position down, finishing third on four points will almost certainly be enough to advance.
03:50 CET – There were boos of frustration from the stands in Mexico City as the home side goes into half-time 0-0. All four defences have been tough to break down.
Bafana Bafana assistant manager Helman Mkhalele praised his team's defending in a half-time interview but has called for his forwards to be more "clinical".
03:38 CET – No shots on target yet in the game between Czech Republic and Mexico, whilst South Korea and South Africa have had just one each. This group will probably explode at any moment, but that moment is not now.
03:23 CET – Both games are scoreless and in their first half hydration breaks. South Africa have had to resume with ten on the pitch because Yaya Sithole is still getting medical treatment to a bloodied face, which was noticed by a match official during the break.
03:17 CET – We're five minutes away from the hydration break in both matches. Czech Republic have had four shots, all off target, compared with Mexico's zero. South Korea recorded the only shot on target of the other game with their 59% of possession.
03:08 CET – South Korea and Czech Republic both spurned golden goalscoring opportunities at the same time! Oh, the joys of split screen viewing. Both Lee Kang-in and Denis Visinsky were left with their faces in their hands.
03:00 CET – Kick-off in Mexico City and Monterrey!
02:55 CET – Rousing scenes in Mexico City as more than 80,000 people belt out the Mexico national anthem. Before the action gets underway, here is a final check of the standings. South Korea defeated Czech Republic and would therefore finish second should those two nations be tied on four points.
02:35 CET – Here are the team changes for Group A's matches:
South Africa: Yaya Sithole, Relebohile Mofokeng and Evidence Makgopa are in for Teboho Mokoena, Jayden Adams and Iqraam Rayners. They change from a 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1.
Czech Republic: Denis Visinsky, Pavel Sulc and David Doudera are in for Alexandr Sojka, Vladimir Darida and Patrik Schick.
Mexico: Israel Reyes, Cesar Montes, Mateo Chavez Garcia, Gilberto Mora and Guillermo Martinez are in for Johan Vazquez, Jesus Gallardo, Brian Gutierrez, Erik Lima and Raul Jimenez.
South Korea: Oh Hyeon-gyu and Hwang Hee-chan are in for Son Heung-min and Lee Jae-sung.
02:30 CET – With 30 minutes to go until Group A comes into focus, the starting lineups for the two games have been submitted.
02:15 CET – You can now read our match reports of the two games just completed via the links below:
Morocco conquer difficult Haiti assignment to finish second in Group C
Scotland's campaign in precarious position as Brazil win Group C
02:06 CET – Confirming the final standings of Group C. Brazil will play the runners-up of Group F in Houston and Morocco the winners of Group F in Guadalupe. Netherlands, Japan and Sweden are the contenders for those two spots in Group F.
02:03 CET – Scotland put in an effort but couldn't land a single punch in Miami. They finish with three points and a -3 goal difference, leaving their Round of 32 hopes hanging by a thread.
02:00 CET – Morocco finish second in Group C after an unbeaten group stage campaign!
01:50 CET – MOROCCO SCORE AGAIN! Brazil remain firmly in control of proceedings in Miami, while in Atlanta Haiti almost certainly won't be getting the point they so thoroughly deserve after Morocco extended their lead.
01:40 CET – Morocco claim the lead in a thrilling game at Atlanta! Soufiane Rahimi claims the goal after his shot takes a deflection into the net off a Haitian defender. Rahimi is in tears, overwhelmed with emotion, with that his first international goal from open play since 2024.
Meanwhile, there's an equally raucous celebration from the crowd in Miami as Neymar comes onto the pitch. It's his first appearance for Brazil since in a World Cup qualifier in October 2023.
01:35 CET – Both matches are currently in their second half hydration breaks.
01:25 CET – 3-0 BRAZIL! Scotland's goal difference is taking a hammering in Miami and their chances of advancing via a third-place finish are quickly diminishing. Bruno Guimaraes outfoxes the Scottish defence and nudges it sideways to Matheus Cunha to slot his third goal of the tournament.
Over In Atlanta, Haiti continue to play fearless and exciting football with a 'nothing to lose' attitude, and it's making life difficult for Morocco. They can nonetheless rest assured that, unless Scotland somehow scores four goals against Brazil in 30 minutes, they can afford this result.
01:10 CET – Both games have recommenced after half-time and the group standings are as they were at kick-off: with Brazil and Morocco advancing and Scotland finishing in third.
00:55 CET – Here are the half-time stats for both games:
00:52 CET – Brazil are assured of their place in the Round of 32 after Vini Jr doubles Brazil's lead!
00:46 CET – MOROCCO HIT BACK IMMEDIATELY. Ismael Saibari becomes the first African player to score in all three group stage games at a single World Cup.
00:45 CET – Haiti reclaim the lead with one of the goals of the tournament! Wilson Isidor into the top left corner from outside the box. He officially becomes the country's first World Cup goalscorer in more than 40 years.
00:39 CET – Heartbreak for Haiti as Morocco strike back through Achraf Hakimi, moving Morocco up to five points on the live standings.
00:31 CET – 38-year-old Haiti goalkeeper Johnny Placide, who is wearing the Haiti shirt for the last time in this game having announced his retirement, made an athletic double save we'd expect to see from a man ten years his junior to keep the Haitians in the lead. Because of Brazil's good work, it doesn't impact Morocco's final position – yet.
00:26 CET – The two games are taking their hydration breaks with Haiti and Brazil both up 1-0.
00:23 CET – Scotland earn a reprieve from the VAR after it looked as though Vini Jr had recorded a brace. He stripped Scott Hendry of the ball before putting it into the back of the net, but the referee deemed Vini's challenge to be a foul.Deja vu in Miami as Vini Jr scores from another dreadful Scottish mistake! This time it's McKenna's parter Scott Hendry who is stripped of the ball by Vinicius himself. The VAR room is taking a look
00:11 CET – HAITI SCORES THEIR FIRST GOAL OF THE TOURNAMENT! It's Lenny Joseph, who played a total of just 33 minutes off the bench in the first two games, who receives a low cross and backheels it into the net. Cruelly for Joseph, the goal has been retrospectively deemed an own goal against the Moroccan goalkeeper Bono.
As it stands, Brazil (7pts) and Morocco (4pts) would finish ahead of Scotland (3pts) and Haiti (3pts) on the live standings.
00:08 CET – Vinicius Junior pounces on an awful error from Scotland and opens the scoring! Scott McKenna was dispossessed of the ball in Scotland's own box by Rayan – number 26 v number 26 – and the ball landed at the feet of Vini who claimed it in front of the penalty spot and one-touched it around the goalkeeper to slot into an empty net.
00:00 CET – The anthems have been performed, the fans revved up and the action is underway in both Atlanta and Miami!
23:46 CET – There really is a huge amount to play for in these games, with any of the current top three still able to finish in any of the top three spots.
Brazil are best-placed, with their superior goal difference putting them ahead of Morocco, but the Africans are likely to give their own record a boost against Haiti. With whoever finishes second likely to face the Netherlands in the next round, there's a real incentive to go all out in a bid to finish top.
As for Scotland, a loss would leave them in real danger of failing to make it out of the group, with three points and a negative goal difference not certain to be good enough, so they'll be aiming to get a famous draw at the least.
23:33 CET – Our attention now turns to Group C, where Brazil and Morocco are both out to seal top spot, while Scotland are seeking to stun the Selecao and secure their place in the knockout rounds.
The big news coming out of Miami is that Neymar is fit enough to make the bench for Brazil, while Bournemouth's 19-year-old Rayan has been chosen to replace the injured Raphinha.
Scotland, meanwhile, have gone with an attacking lineup as they bid to pick up the point that would send them through.
23:01 CET – Josh Donaldson at Seattle Stadium: The ground erupts as Bosnia & Herzegovina win 3-1 against Qatar to give themselves a great chance of being one of the eight best third-place finishers. Despite the odd wobble at the back, the Balkan side were on top throughout, with Kerim Alajbegovic's opener set to live long in the memory.
For Qatar and Julen Lopetegui, they may have made history by picking up their first-ever World Cup point against Switzerland, but it all went downhill from there with crushing losses to both Canada and Bosnia.
22:58 CET – Switzerland top Group B! Canada gave it a good go at the end, going close with a few efforts, but just couldn't find the goal they needed.
They'll head all the way down to Los Angeles for their next round, while the Swiss get to stay put in Vancouver.
22:46 CET – Josh Donaldson at Seattle Stadium: Game, set and match Bosnia? With 10 minutes to go, substitute Ermin Mahmic finds space in the box, shoots through a crowd and into the back of the net to make it 3-1 against Qatar. The Liberec player whips off his shirt to celebrate a massive goal for his nation, putting them ever closer to the knockouts.
22:44 CET – Bosnia get a third! With that, their place in the knockout rounds is surely secured.
22:41 CET – Josh Donaldson at Seattle Stadium: A nice little detail we are likely to see across this third matchday is the big screens showing goals going in from other games. Canada's goal against Switzerland to make it 2-1 has just flashed up. In other games, where the scoreline matters, this will certainly keep crowds on the edge of their seats and away from the transistor radios.
Still, the quickest way to keep abreast of the games is with Flashscore.
22:36 CET – Just as I say that, the Maple Leafs spring into life! Just 73 seconds after coming on, Promise David volleys home with his first touch to make it 2-1!
Around 15 minutes to go.
22:33 CET – Canada are running out of time to stage a comeback and snatch back top spot in the group; that would ensure that they'd play their R32 match on home turf, whereas they'll have to travel all the way to Los Angeles if things stay as they are, so it would be a big blow to lose this.
22:21 CET – Josh Donaldson at Seattle Stadium: Qatar goalscorer Al Haydos is being helped off the pitch as he comes off injured. It's probably the 35-year-old's final World Cup appearance, and he can only watch as Akram Afif stings the side netting with an effort. This game could go either way with 30 minutes left to play.
22:18 CET – It's 2-0 in Vancouver! Breel Embolo gets on the end of a ball over the top and lays it off to Johan Manzambi after some excellent hold-up play, and the 20-year-old makes no mistake!
With three goals at this tournament now, he's becoming one of its breakout stars.
22:08 CET – Switzerland make the dream start to the second half! They take the lead through Ruben Vargas, who puts the finishing touches on a team move with an excellent finish!
22:01 CET – Josh Donaldson at Seattle Stadium: After a half dominated by Bosnia, Qatar have finished the stronger, and could be level after Pedro Miguel hit the post just before the break.
What looked like a lost cause 10 minutes ago feels very salvageable for Julen Lopetegui's men now. Both defences are shaky, so expect more goals in the second half.
21:54 CET – It's been a tale of two halves so far tonight, with action aplenty in Seattle but things much more subdued in Vancouver. That's perhaps not a huge surprise given Switzerland and Canada are both effectively through regardless, but you'd expect the Swiss to ramp things up in the second half to try and seal top spot in the group.
21:50 CET – Josh Donaldson at Seattle Stadium: First shot, first goal for Qatar – simple! Captain Hasan Al Haydos steals in to reduce the arrears to one, in what was such a simple move. Do we have a game here in Seattle?
21:47 CET – It's turning into a thriller in Seattle, with Qatar getting a goal back just before the break!
21:44 CET – Josh Donaldson at Seattle Stadium: Julen Lopetegui is cutting quite the disconsolate figure on the Qatar touchline. He seems powerless to change the momentum in this contest as Edin Dzeko hits the inside of the post when clean through.
Still no shots in the game for Qatar – they've barely got out of their half, and yet, inexplicably, look vulnerable on the counter.
21:40 CET – Unlike in Seattle, neither side is taking charge in Vancouver, where Switzerland are dominating possession but Canada are looking threatening at times too.
21:36 CET – It's 2-0 in Seattle!
Josh Donaldson at Seattle Stadium: It's unravelling for Qatar incredibly quickly as Sultan Al Brake puts one in his own net from an Edin Dzeko volley. It's unfortunate for the defender, but synonymous of Qatar's poor World Cup.
For the majority of the supporters in the stadium, they do not care – the Bosnia fans are bouncing with joy. As it stands, they are almost certain to be progressing to the round of 32. They won't let up the attack, mind, as goal difference could be an important factor for them in the third-place race.
21:32 CET – Josh Donaldson at Seattle Stadium: What a strike from Alajbegovic. On his right foot, he bends one into the top corner from the edge of the box after a mazy run to set himself up. It's the first real piece of quality from either side, and Bosnia have their deserved lead. How can Qatar respond?
21:30 CET – Bosnia & Herzegovina take the lead in Seattle! They've gone 1-0 up at the half-hour mark courtesy of a strike from Kerim Alajbegovic.
21:26 CET – Josh Donaldson at Seattle Stadium: Boualem Khoukhi gets one to the face from a Bosnia free-kick to usher in the first hydration break, and that is the perfect microcosm for this first half so far. Both managers are very animated during the break, suggesting both want more from their players in the 'second quarter'.
21:17 CET – Josh Donaldson at Seattle Stadium: It will be interesting to see how far we get into this game before both teams start to tense up. Both need to win, a draw does neither any favours, and those nerves already feel palpable. A wayward backpass from Ivan Sunjic, who has looked busy so far, is barely cleared by Bosnia keeper Nikola Vasilj – a sign of what this game means to both sides.
21:13 CET – 10 minutes into the clash in Vancouver, Switzerland should really be ahead, with Breel Embolo failing to convert with only the goalkeeper to beat.
21:07 CET – Josh Donaldson at Seattle Stadium: Bosnia have been quick out the traps against Qatar, forcing Mahmoud Abunada into two decent saves to his right. Qatar look set up to counter from deep with their main man, Akram Afif, leading the line.
21:02 CET – Tonight's action is underway! We'll bring you all the major updates here, and you follow every kick at the links at the top of this page.
20:53 CET – The clash between Canada and Switzerland may be the more eye-catching one this evening, but with both of them already all but certain to go through to the next round, the more important clash is in Seattle, where the Bosnian's have a huge amount of support.
Josh Donaldson at Seattle Stadium: As the players enter the field, there are pockets of empty seats dotted around, but this feels like we could be in Sarajevo, rather than Seattle. Thousands marched in the colours of blue and white in support of Bosnia & Herzegovina earlier – something you feel could be an important advantage for this crucial clash.
20:00 CET – Josh Donaldson from the Seattle Stadium: It's win or go home for Qatar as well as Bosnia & Herzegovina in Seattle today, as both sides sit on one point from two games at this World Cup.
Julen Lopetegui has been forced into multiple changes after his side's 6-0 thumping of Canada last time out – a game that saw them finish with nine players. Sultan Al Brake comes into a makeshift backline, whilst Gueye Laye moves back from midfield. Ahmed Fathi steps into the midfield and Hasan Al Haydos gets the nod on the wing.
There are similar issues for Bosnia, and they have opted for changes too. Ivan Basic comes into midfield, and talented young winger Esmir Bajraktarevic is back in from the start. At the back, suspended Tarik Muharemovic is replaced by Arjan Malic, whilst Stjepan Radeljic gets his first appearance at the World Cup.
19:42 CET – Team news is in for the two early matches tonight as Group B reaches its conclusion. In the battle for top spot, co-hosts Canada have unsurprisingly named a similar side to the one that thrashed Qatar in their last game.
Jesse Marsch makes two changes to that side, and both come in central midfield as Mathieu Choiniere and Nathan Saliba replace Ismael Kone (who is out of the tournament after a horror injury) and Stephen Eustaquio.
Switzerland boss Murat Yakin, meanwhile, has made five changes to the starting XI and has altered the formation from a 4-3-1-2 to a 4-2-3-1.
16:05 CET – Switzerland are well-placed to finish top of their group tonight thanks to their 4-1 win over Bosnia & Herzegovina last time out, and the resolution of an issue that has haunted the national team for years has people within the country believing this could be a World Cup run to remember – read all about it here.
14:37 CET – After the battle to make it out of Group B concludes this evening, our attention will turn to Group C, where Scotland will be looking to seal their spot in the knockout rounds with a point or a shock win against Brazil.
While they may advance even if they lose, a draw would make them all but certain to go through as one of the best third-placed teams, while a win would see them finish in second ahead of Brazil, assuming Morocco beat Haiti.
Only a win is likely to be enough for Carlo Ancelotti's side to top the group, and all eyes will be on whether Neymar will be fit enough to help them do so.
Check out our preview of the clash here.
13:00 CET – Good afternoon and welcome to the third and final round of matches in Group B and Group C!
The action starts with the conclusion of Group B, as co-hosts Canada and Switzerland go to battle for the top spot.
The stakes are just as high in the other match as Bosnia & Herzegovina face Qatar in a clash that both nations need to win to keep their hopes alive of finishing as one of the third-place qualifiers.
While you wait for the fun to begin, you can catch up on yesterday's action by reliving it as it happened here and checking out the biggest highlights here.
