The Iranian nuclear enrichment sites would be visited by inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), head of the UN’s nuclear agency Rafael Mariano Grossi said in Tokyo on Wednesday (June 24, 2026). Kazem Gharibabadi, a deputy Foreign Minister, commented on X. He was reacting to remarks earlier in the day by Rafael Mariano Grossi in Japan.
“No meeting was held with Grossi in Switzerland, despite his request. Nor is there any plan for access to the facilities that were attacked or to nuclear material,” Mr. Gharibabadi wrote.
“These issues will be reviewed and decided only within the framework of a final agreement and as a result of practical action by the other side to end all sanctions and other measures,” he said. “You cannot advance the stir up and take over’ policy with media hype,” he added.

U.S. President Donald Trump and Vice-President J.D. Vance say their interim deal to end the war with Iran will deliver a financial windfall to American farmers.

Just one in four Americans believes President Donald Trump’s war with Iran was worth its costs and a majority worry that a truce with Tehran is unlikely to last, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found.
The five-day poll also showed the war weighing heavily on Mr. Trump’s popularity, with his approval rating dropping to 34%, a return to the lowest level of ‌the Republican’s second term that was last touched in an April survey.

America’s top diplomat arrived in the United Arab Emirates late on Tuesday and was due to travel in coming days to Kuwait and Bahrain, where he will meet officials from the Gulf Cooperation Council, a grouping of monarchies that also includes Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman.
