Severe storms overnight left nearly 79,000 Oklahomans without power Monday morning as crews assessed widespread damage.
OG&E crews are working to restore outages while officials warn residents to avoid downed power lines and storm-damaged areas.

Severe storms overnight left thousands of Oklahomans without power Monday morning.
Crews are now working to restore service as downed power lines, fallen trees and storm damage have been reported across the Oklahoma City metro.

Heavy winds from overnight storms near Woodward toppled multiple train cars along U.S. Highway 412 near County Road 207.
The train was not blocking any roadways, and officials reported no injuries or traffic disruptions.

OG&E is reporting thousands of people in Woodward are without power after severe storms caused several outages overnight Sunday.
The first outages were reported close to 11:22 p.m., with estimated time of restoration close to 5 a.m. Monday morning.
We’re also getting reports of approximately 400 people without power near Harper, Okla.
