Downtown Fort Myers roadways reopen after police determine reported bomb threat was a swatting call – Gulf Coast News and Weather

Roadways and businesses have opened back up in downtown Fort Myers after police said a reported bomb threat was a swatting call.
Police said businesses in the area were evacuated, and multiple roads were closed as officers investigated the area, but have reopened and are clear for normal traffic flow.
According to FMPD, this is an active investigation.
