An application to build a 152-unit residential development in a North Delta neighbourhood surrounded primarily by single-family houses has been cancelled.
That’s according to a recent update by the city on the application at 112th Street and 82nd Avenue, which included the consolidation of seven lots into a single development parcel.
The development would have included a four-storey condo building with 85 market strata units and 47 market rental units, as well as three three-storey townhouse buildings with 20 units.
The parking spaces were proposed to be in an underground parkade with 179 spaces for the apartment residents and 13 spaces for visitors.
The townhouses would have had 40 spaces for townhouse residents and four for visitors, with vehicle access from 82nd Avenue.
The rezoning proposal would have required an Official Community Plan (OCP) amendment.
