Earlier this month, Samsung detailed the June 2026 security patch and then started rolling it out to Galaxy devices. This week, the Galaxy S25 series received a new update that brought the June 2026 security patch along with File Summaries and Notification Highlights features that debuted on the Galaxy S26 series. Now, the Galaxy S24 series has started receiving the latest security update as well.
A new software update is rolling out to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra in South Korea. It comes with firmware version S92xNKSS6DZF3, has a download size of over 300MB, and includes the June 2026 security patch. Unfortunately, it does not bring either the File Summaries or the Notification Highlights features that was recently released for the Galaxy S25 series.
If you use a Galaxy S24 series device and live in South Korea, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings > Software update and tapping Check for updates. Once the update has been downloaded, tap the Install now button to begin the installation process.
This update could be released to the Galaxy S24 series in other countries and regions over the next few days.
