This week, U.S. News& World Report released its rankings of the top 2,250 universities worldwide, with several campuses from the Texas Tech University System making the list.
The list considers 13 indicators and weights that measure global research performance and reputation, with several private and public universities in Texas securing spots in the top 500.
While Texas Tech didn’t gain one of those coveted spots, it did move up from its previous year’s ranking.

Global Ranking: No. 562 (tie).

Other rankings: Best Global Universities for Clinical Medicine (#1,212).
Global Ranking: Unranked.
Location: San Angelo, Texas.

Other rankings: Best Regional Universities West Rankings (#56), Top Public Universities — Regional Universities West (#29) and Best Value Universities — Regional Universities West (#36).
Global Ranking: Unranked.
