WEDNESDAY: Ample sunshine and very hot with highs in the 90s and 100s. Temperatures will be close to records, but with the expected cold front arriving earlier than expected, temperatures very well may miss the record threshold. Winds will also be breezy gusting to 35 mph leading to elevated fire danger west in the mountains and in the southern I-25 corridor.
THURSDAY: Temperatures cool to the 80s. Some clouds here and there, but otherwise staying mostly sunny. Winds remain breezy gusting to 30 mph.
FRIDAY – WEEKEND: Clouds increase into the weekend with slightly warmer temperatures in the 80s and 90s. Thunderstorm chances appear spotty at best.
EARLY NEXT WEEK: Greater storm chances by the beginning of the week with cooler temperatures in the 70s and 80s.
