TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Foxconn made its debut at Paris’ VivaTech, showcasing artificial intelligence infrastructure and electric vehicle solutions aimed at Europe’s push for sovereign AI and localized supply chains.
Foxconn is positioning itself as a key partner in building next-generation AI infrastructure in Europe. Its booth featured Nvidia’s Vera Rubin NVL72 system for the first time in Europe, alongside capabilities in AI racks, compute trays, liquid cooling, power delivery and system integration, according to Foxconn’s press release.
The company said these technologies demonstrate its role in supporting the global development of a “tokenized AI factory.” It emphasized end-to-end manufacturing strengths spanning high-density computing systems and infrastructure deployment, per CNA.
In electric vehicles, Foxconn showcased its subsidiary Foxtron Vehicle Technologies’ Model B-based BRIA and the Model D luxury MPV, both making their Paris debut. The display highlighted its EV platform, vehicle design, smart cockpit, advanced electrical architecture, and contract design and manufacturing services.
Foxconn has been expanding in Europe since 2000, starting with manufacturing bases in the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia before extending to France and Poland. The company is accelerating regional investment as part of its long-term supply chain strategy, noted the Economic Daily News.
At the June Choose France summit, Foxconn announced cooperation with France’s Bull to advance AI infrastructure manufacturing in Europe. It also formed a joint venture, Tessalia, with Radiall and Thales for advanced semiconductor packaging, breaking ground in Le Barp, per UDN.
VivaTech, held annually in Paris, is one of Europe’s flagship technology events, bringing together global tech firms, startups, investors and policymakers. The exhibition is widely seen as a key venue for tracking innovation trends, industrial partnerships, and commercialization in Europe.
