Residents expressed their concerns about the shooting in such a crowded area.
“And it’s a shame in Colerain Township that a lot of this stuff goes on,” said Roy Kidd, a Colerain Township resident. “It’s pretty frightening. You know, it makes you wonder because you got kids running around the neighborhoods. And look, you’re in a market where all kinds of kids could be, you know, and you take the chance of hitting the kid, you know? And a lot of people just nowadays, they just don’t care. You know, it’s a shame.”
Police have not yet revealed what led to the shooting or whether they know who may have pulled the trigger. A neighbor said a K9 team was searching for a trail on the east side of Pippin Road.
