June 15 (Reuters) – India’s wholesale prices rose 9.68% year-on-year in May after a 8.26% gain in the previous month, government data showed on Monday, in the first print of the revised series with 2022-23 as the base year.
Economists polled by Reuters had projected wholesale prices in May to rise 9.05% year-on-year.
