Meta Platforms Inc. lost its bid to dismiss an adult-film company’s lawsuit accusing the tech giant of training AI models on its copyright-protected videos.
Strike 3 Holdings LLC sufficiently alleged there was a coordinated effort across Meta IP addresses to torrent its content, Judge Eumi K. Lee said Thursday for the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
