With Workday launching at Clemson July 1, faculty and staff should ensure their web browsers and devices meet requirements for full functionality and access to Workday before go-live. Because Workday is a secure, cloud-based solution for HR and Finance, using supported versions of software will ensure full functionality, security and performance.
Additionally, like many of our current systems, Workday requires Duo two-factor authentication to log in. Visit the CCIT blog to learn how to update your Duo Mobile app. For those who cannot access Duo Mobile or have a device out of compliance, Duo supports Windows Hello and Apple Touch ID for two-factor authentication. Setup instructions are available on Tiger Hub for Windows Hello and Touch ID.
If you have questions about updating your devices, need assistance or need another two-factor authentication method, contact the CCIT Support Center.
Workday is supported in the latest two versions of the following browsers:
Internet Explorer is supported on version 11 only. Versions 9 and 10 are not supported.
Chrome and Safari are supported for mobile browser use but do not have full functionality and are not recommended for normal use. The Workday mobile app, which will be available at go-live, is recommended instead.
Note: Workday generally supports the two latest versions of mobile operating systems. When the next versions of these operating systems are released, Workday will support only the newest version and the previous version.
