Looking for World Cup games today? International friendlies continue Tuesday, June 9, as teams head into the final stretch of preparation just days before the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off.
The latest round of warm‑up matches comes as national teams lock in rosters, finalize starting lineups and manage last-minute injuries ahead of the tournament.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup officially begins Thursday, June 11, but international friendlies are being played daily, offering fans a preview of teams heading into the tournament.
Several key matchups are on tap as teams across different regions wrap up their final tune-ups:
June 9 (Tuesday)
These games follow Monday’s slate of friendlies, where teams like France, the Netherlands and Spain took the field against international opponents as part of their final evaluations.
Wednesday, June 10 marks the last full day of international friendlies before the tournament officially begins.

After these games, teams will shift fully into tournament mode.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup officially kicks off Thursday, June 11, bringing together 48 teams for the largest tournament in the competition’s history.

Most of the World Cup games will air live on major TV networks in the U.S., making it relatively easy to watch matches without special subscriptions if you have cable or a digital antenna.
English-language coverage will be primarily carried on FOX and FS1, with many of the biggest matchups — including knockout rounds and the final — airing on regular broadcast TV channels. Spanish-language coverage will also be available on Telemundo and Universo.
Telemundo will air 92 games on its free over-the-air station, with the other 12 airing on Universo.
