Missing out on this week’s WWDC fun in California? Apple Vision Pro users can virtually join tonight’s The Talk Show livestream with the Theater app.
Theater for visionOS premiered two years ago, exclusively streaming John Gruber’s The Talk Show post-WWDC event live with 3D video.
The Apple Vision Pro app later added new features like extensive Plex support and a full-blown immersive planetarium.
Tonight, Theater will exclusively livestream The Talk Show for the third year running, per Daring Fireball:
You can also watch tonight’s show in live stereoscopic immersive in the Theater app from Sandwich Vision on Vision Pro. A purchase of the ticket to the live show, [inside] the Theater app for $12.99, is also good for replay forever — with surprise bonus features included. It’s a fun, truly immersive way to experience the show.
The show starts at 7 pm PT, so there’s still time to fire up the Apple Vision Pro and get Theater up and running.
Theater for Apple Vision Pro is a free download from the App Store.
