Welcome back to your weekly roundup of everything new on Netflix US! We have officially crossed over into a new month, which means the Netflix library has just been flooded with a massive first-of-the-month content drop. In total, a staggering 113 new releases (92 movies and 21 series) hit the platform over the past seven days. Below, we’ll pick out our favorite new additions and break down what’s been dominating the Netflix Top 10 charts.
Whether you are looking to binge through a massive collection of classic films, dive into some gripping new true crime, or catch up on some of the biggest network TV shows of the past year, the first week of June 2026 has brought a little bit of something for everyone.
For more on what’s still to come throughout June and an early preview of what’s coming up in July, keep it locked here on What’s on Netflix.
Before we dive into the data to see what subscribers have actually been watching, let’s take a look at our three streaming highlights for the week:
Type: TV Series
Genre: Western, Drama
Netflix’s licensing spree continues with the arrival of the critically acclaimed Paramount+ western, Lawmen: Bass Reeves. Produced by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone) and starring a powerhouse David Oyelowo, the series chronicles the true story of the legendary Wild West lawman who escaped slavery and became one of the first Black Deputy U.S. Marshals west of the Mississippi River. If you’re a fan of gritty, historical dramas, this should be at the very top of your queue.
The Rocky & Creed Franchise
Type: Movie
Genre: Sports, Drama
We’re cheating a bit by lumping these together, but it’s hard not to! As part of the June 1st additions, Netflix just added almost the entirety of the Rocky and Creed cinematic universe. Whether you want to revisit Sylvester Stallone’s original Oscar-winning 1976 classic, or jump straight into the modern era with Michael B. Jordan’s spectacular 2023 directorial debut Creed III, your weekend movie marathon is officially sorted.
Type: Movie
Genre: Action, Thriller | Runtime: 1h 30m
If you’re in the mood for a slick, briskly-paced action thriller this weekend, Fast Charlie hits the sweet spot. Directed by action-veteran Phillip Noyce (Salt) and written by the pen behind The Equalizer, the film stars Pierce Brosnan as Charlie Swift, an aging hitman who goes on a bloody quest for revenge after a rival mobster wipes out his crew and his mentor[2]. Adding an extra layer of poignancy, the movie features the final on-screen performance of the legendary James Caan. It’s a tight, 90-minute throwback to classic pulpy crime thrillers, elevated by Brosnan’s undeniable leading-man charm.
Type: Movie
Genre: Sports, Drama
Jennifer Lopez heads back to her movie roots in this new romantic comedy (complete with an R-rating and very descriptive movie title) where she stars alongside Brett Goldstein, who has rocketed in popularity thanks to his starring role in Apple’s Ted Lasso series.
In our review, published slightly belatedly this morning, we wrote:
“Lopez & Goldstein may not make the Rom-Com Chemistry Hall of Fame, but a deep cast and a script packed with more humor than your average film of the genre will make this a fun night at home.”
Given that this is a very long list, we’d recommend using our app (Android / iOS) to dive in deeper or our What’s New on Netflix hub. They both have advanced filters, search tools, and much more detail about each and every title added.

Now, let’s take a look at what people have actually been watching on Netflix US over the past seven days.
On the Movies side, we have an incredibly rare dead heat for the number one spot! Both the animated sports feature Goat and the Netflix Original thriller The Crash are tied at the top of the charts with 69 points apiece, proving both titles have exceptional staying power. Further down, the massive wave of June 1st additions are already making their mark, with the sci-fi romance Passengers (20 points) and family-favorite Bee Movie (19 points) surging into the top 10. We can also see our highlight, Creed III, making a very strong early debut at #7 with 22 points.

Over on the TV Series charts, the English-language drama The Four Seasons has dethroned last week’s champion, surging to #1 with a commanding 75 points and pushing the Duffer Brothers’ sci-fi series The Boroughs down to #2 (61 points).
The real story in the TV charts this week, however, is the absolute dominance of true crime and documentary programming. Subscribers are bingeing heavily in this genre, with Worst Ex Ever, the brand new Instadocs: Alex Murdaugh, Unconvicted, and the original docuseries Michael Jackson: The Verdict all claiming massive viewership in the top 10. Meanwhile, our highlight AFI Life Achievement Award: A Tribute to Eddie Murphy made a splashy entrance at #4 (37 points), and Lawmen: Bass Reeves successfully cracked the top 10 at #9 (19 points).
That’s it for your bumper rundown of everything new on Netflix US this week – let us know what you’re watching down in the comments!
