After Noida, Labour Unrest Spreads To Faridabad: Following massive protests in different parts of Noida, especially Sector 62, workers in Faridabad’s Sector 37 came onto the roads and staged massive demonstrations over the same issue. Their major demand is a salary hike. As per reports, thousands of workers from the Motherson company protested on the roads over salary-related issues. Workers from other companies also joined the protest, leading to massive traffic congestion.

Due to the protests, Delhi has been put on high alert. Heavy police force has been deployed in large numbers to maintain the law-and-order situation as tensions remain high. Protesters express strong anger at company management and the labour department, saying their demands were ignored by the employers. Authorities are closely watching the situation.
Noida protest: Akshardham-Noida route closed, demonstrations trigger massive traffic – check routes to avoid
Several traffic routes have been majorly affected across Noida as hundreds of workers held a massive protest on the roads on Monday, demanding a salary hike. Widespread congestion was witnessed in Sector 62 and nearby areas. Entry into Noida from the Akshardham route was blocked by the traffic police due to the protest, further worsening the situation for officegoers and daily commuters.
As per reports, several routes connecting major roads such as Sector 62 to Sector 16 and NH-9 were blocked by the agitating workers demanding salary hike. The protest resulted in traffic jams on major traffic routes, leading to long traffic snarls and delays for commuters.
