Com2uS announced on the 2nd that it is partnering with the Sungkyunkwan University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation to recruit the first cohort of students for its ‘AI Campus,’ a training program designed to cultivate experts in AI-based game client development.
The AI Campus was established to focus on training practical talent capable of directly applying artificial intelligence—a core technology in the modern gaming industry—to actual game content development. Applications are open to anyone with relevant work experience, job seekers looking to become AI-integrated game client developers, and graduates or prospective graduates in related fields. The application deadline is July 10.
The curriculum goes beyond basic technical application, featuring an ‘AI-native’ program that provides in-depth training in practical AI-integrated game design, including C#, AI agent server construction, and ML-Agents reinforcement learning. Selected students will undergo 24 weeks of professional, in-person training at the Sungkyunkwan University Pangyo Campus from July 21 to January 18, 2027.
Notably, the program introduces a ‘draft system’ where current Com2uS employees participate as dedicated mentors. Students can maximize their development skills through various projects while receiving firsthand practical know-how from industry professionals. Furthermore, through six months of individual and team projects, students will complete three practical portfolios ready for job interviews, with full copyright ownership of these portfolios retained by the students themselves.
As part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s K-Digital Training program, the AI Campus is fully funded by the government. All students will receive a monthly training stipend of up to ₩400,000, and top-performing graduates will be granted a special opportunity for full-time employment at Com2uS, drawing significant interest from young job seekers.
Meanwhile, Com2uS will participate in the AIEX Campus Fair, which will be held at the Sungkyunkwan University Bundang Campus on July 8. The offline event will feature a special guest lecture by a dedicated Com2uS mentor, as well as personalized one-on-one consultations for job seekers regarding AI Campus applications and career opportunities.
