New Delhi: Aaj Tak emerged as the leading Hindi news publisher during the key election counting window across live streams and VOD platforms, according to a COTT report by Chrome DM.
The report measured cumulative views between 08:00 and 12:00 hrs on May 4, 2026, across live stream and VOD platforms.
As per the report, Aaj Tak recorded 307.09 million cumulative views during the four-hour window. News18 India followed with 188.07 million views, while India TV stood at 152.37 million views.
ABP News recorded 108.61 million cumulative views, followed by Zee News at 99.85 million, TV9 Bharatvarsh at 83.01 million and Republic Bharat at 52.82 million.

Chrome DM’s COTT measurement framework captures cumulative views across live streams and VOD consumption.
The measurement includes YouTube across mobile and connected TV platforms, FAST channels on smart TVs, smart boxes and Fire TV Stick devices, and social media and other apps on mobile platforms.
According to the report, Aaj Tak also remained No. 1 in every single hour during the 08:00 to 12:00 hrs window.
The sustained lead during the counting period underlines Aaj Tak’s strong audience pull during live election coverage across digital and connected TV environments.
The COTT report placed Republic Bharat at the seventh position among the listed publishers, with 52.82 million cumulative views during the same period.
