Ukraine War Drives Boom in Taiwan Drone Exports – The Defense Post

Taiwan’s unmanned aerial system (UAS) exports are surging as the war in Ukraine drives global demand for autonomous solutions and pushes governments to diversify away from Chinese suppliers.
The country exported 181,159 drones in the first four months of 2026, nearly 20 times more than the same period last year, according to Taipei Times, citing official trade data.
Most shipments were directed to Poland and the Czech Republic, which analysts said are serving as transit hubs for deliveries to Ukraine.
