The Attorney General’s Office and the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit are investigating.
Several roads are closed as police process the scene, including Elm Street at Route 75, Elm Street at Dawson Street, and School Street at Steeple Street.
Kevin Deegan of Farmington has family living at the base of Elm Street. He says they heard shots last night.
“I got a call last night from my ex-wife, and she said she had just heard a bunch of gunshots, which you hear from time to time, but not, you know, not at 10:00 or 11:00 at night. So she was concerned,” Deegan said.
He came over early this morning to check on his family.
“It worries me because I have a 14-year-old and a 21-year-old who live here as well,” Deegan said.
Deegan’s son attends Nute Middle-High School, which is closed as the investigation continues.
“It is what it is. I mean, we don’t know the full story. We don’t know what happened,” Deegan said.
Last Thursday, a man was also injured in a separate shooting involving police in Milan.
